Dr. Arielle Caruso is a Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine and the founder of Arise Acupuncture in San Diego, California. She specializes in digestive health, women’s health, hormonal balance, mental health, autoimmune conditions, and holistic skin rejuvenation.

Her approach blends the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern, integrative care to help patients uncover the root causes of their symptoms and restore balance in the body as a whole. Rather than focusing solely on isolated symptoms, Dr. Arielle creates personalized treatment plans designed to support long-term healing and sustainable wellness.

After years of struggling with chronic fatigue, migraines, IBS, endometriosis, and other difficult-to-diagnose health challenges, Dr. Arielle turned to Chinese Medicine in search of answers. Through acupuncture, nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle changes, she experienced firsthand the profound impact holistic medicine can have on both physical and emotional health. That journey ultimately inspired her to dedicate her life to helping others heal.

Dr. Arielle earned both her Doctorate (DACM) and Master’s degree (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, completing over 4,800 hours of clinical and academic training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Western medicine. She has pursued continuing education in the Mukaino Method for acute and chronic pain, Reiki, Thai massage, and Chi Nei Tsang abdominal therapy.

She is also passionate about holistic skincare and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Arielle has completed advanced training in cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation with Virginia Doran and Dr. East Haradin, and holds certification in Holistic Microneedling through AcuDerm and AcuMicro.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Arielle enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga and meditation, traveling, gardening, cooking, and continuing her own journey of growth and self-discovery. Dr. Hailey’s personal experience navigating multiple autoimmune diagnoses sparked her lifelong dedication to health and healing. Her journey began during her undergraduate studies in Nutrition Science, where she developed a deep understanding of the powerful role diet and lifestyle play in overall wellness. It was during this time that she discovered acupuncture and became inspired by its ability to address the root causes of disease and support the body’s innate ability to heal.

Through both personal experience and advanced clinical training, Dr. Hailey has cultivated a special interest in treating complex and chronic conditions including autoimmune disease, hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders, chronic pain, and stress-related conditions. Her approach is thoughtful, compassionate, and highly individualized — blending Traditional Chinese Medicine with a deep commitment to truly listening to and understanding each patient’s unique story.
