For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by medicine. After years of struggling with my health, I turned to a more natural approach, and it was Chinese Medicine that not only took me to the next level of wellness, but also inspired me to pursue the art of acupuncture. For the past ten years it has been my mission to learn as much as possible about eastern and functional medicine, to understand the harmony between east and west. I am particularly interested in digestive health, detoxification, women’s health and autoimmunity. My approach is to not just see the illness, but the person as a whole experiencing the symptoms. While illness can be one of our greatest challenges, it is also our greatest teacher, and the biggest gift we can give another is that of vibrant health.
I’m a gardener in every sense of the word. I’m a lover of life, and I’m always looking to grow. Radiant health is our birthright. In today’s modern world it is something we need to earn. On a daily bases we are bombarded with elements that challenge our health and it takes effort to remain in balance. Using acupuncture, herbs, supplements, diet modifications, and stress relieving techniques, I have found a way to not only survive, but to thrive. I’m passionate about sharing these tools with others.
Arielle Caruso is a Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, and licensed Acupuncturist. She received her degree from Pacific College of Health & Sciences and received her undergraduate degree in Art History from Arizona State University. She is certified in Reiki Level 1, and has done many hours of study in massage and the art of conscious connecting. Prior to her career in medicine she was an acroyoga instructor, outdoor guide, and art dealer in New York, where she sold modern and contemporary masters.
